UKPPL Running Order

With the official launch of the UK Premier Poker League (UKPPL) site fast approaching on Friday July 9^th, we decided to inform you about the upcoming features we will be releasing prior to the launch.

With so much happening here at the UKPPL head office, this exciting new social poker world is sure to encapsulate all of you poker enthusiasts. Below is a list of each feature, a brief teaser of what will be in them and the landing date for each one.

So without anymore waffle here is the running order for the official UKPPL features:

25^th June - League structure/rules/points system

The first feature will outline in depth the league structure, the rules of engagement and the points system which will rank you in the league. Everything from game dates, tournament rules, qualifying formats and much more, will give you an excellent insight into how the league works.

28^th June - Social poker world

This will inform you of the exciting new social media platform which integrates a social network within the UKPPL. Personalise your own page, release feeds, write blogs, and upload both videos and pictures. This social world will give you the chance to know your competition, and will create plenty of friendly banter; something evident in a professional poker players' career.

30^th June - Prizes to be won

The amount of prizes and rewards available to you whilst playing in the UKPPL is astonishing. This feature will list numerous prizes from cash winnings to Luxury all expenses paid holidays, and just as important, how to win. Remember just because you don't win a tournament with UKPPL doesn't mean you don't win prizes.

1^st July - Introduction to achievements

Whilst embarking on your journey with UKPPL, you will have the chance to unlock over 300 achievements. The system works similarly to Massive Multiplayer Online Games, were you unlock achievements by completing specific scenarios. This feature will explain what they are, and how you can attain them.

2^nd July - Special tournament events

These are special tournaments arranged during the week outside of the UKPPL league event. They are a mix of free-roll, small buy in and charity tournaments. During these you can unlock achievements, and win a minimum guaranteed cash prize.

5^th July - Media spotlight

This feature will explain how by playing in the UKPPL you will have the chance to appear in GX magazine, write blogs for the GX website and be interviewed for GX TV. The amount of media exposure for you is unrivalled by anyone else, unless of course, you are a professional poker player.

6^th July - Updates and modifications

This will outline the regular enhancements, features, updates and patches which will be released during the season, based on user feedback. Features are already being designed for the first service pack, such as live chat, in depth player poker statistics and a range of other services.

7^th July - League Ambassador

The league ambassador will be announced.

8^th July - User tutorial

The final feature before the UKPPL launch will showcase a number of video user tutorials. These will include examples of all the features above and more, so starting your UKPPL career couldn't be easier.
