
Liv Boeree has become the third woman to win a European Poker Tour Tournament. After an 8 hours final table and a heads-up against the Day1 chip Leader Jakob Carlsson, Boeree won with a pocket five hand vs. Jakob's Ace.
She won her first live tournament four years ago in London, and it was a £5 buy-in one. Now with a £5.000 buy-in Liv has won €1.250.000 and a seat for the EPT final which will take place next week in Monte Carlo (25-30 April).
