Victory for Ashton Griffin at NAPT Venetian High Roller

Yesterday you could watch on GXTV, the final event of the High Roller Bounty Shootout of the NAPT at the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas. Ashton Griffin was the winner of this event, winning $460.000.

After three hours playing only three players, the Heads-up started between Ashton Griffin and Hoyt Corkins. Only two hands were necessary for Griffin to beat Corkins. Griffin went all-in after a flop with 4♠ 5♦ 9♠with a 9♦ 8♦ in his hand, and Corkins paid with his 9♥ 3♥. No help for Corkings in the Turn or River, so Griffin turned out to be the winner of the event.

Here is the final classification

  1. Ashton Griffin $560.000
  2. Hoyt Corkins $100.000
  3. Joe Cassidy $95.000
  4. Scott Seiver $215.000
  5. Faraz Jaka $95.000
  6. Brett Richey $90.000
  7. Peter Eastgate $85.000
